Honestly, the nicest hostel I stayed in Sri Lanka. The interior is just so beautiful, the art and the decor was very calming and luxurious. It was the cleaning place I stayed in all of Sri Lanka.

I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful hostel! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the terrace and rooftop were absolutely stunning — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Located just outside the village in a quiet area, the hostel feels like a hidden paradise. Every day, I could see monkeys, squirrels, and even peacocks right from the property. It’s only a 10-minute walk to town, so you get the best of both worlds: peace and quiet, but still close enough to everything you need. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.

Really lovely hostel nestled in the jungle away from the main area. The staff were the nicest we’ve come across - so friendly and kind. The location is lovely, although be prepared for hills if you want to go anywhere although the route in to town is dark it’s very safe. Amazing location for jungle beach and the peace pagoda. We had a private room and it was lovely and clean and well protected with screens against mosquitos. The only thing was no AC in the room which would have improved the visit. Thank you so much for having us 😁

Habibi Hostel is a true hidden gem! Mousa and Anna have created a place where you instantly feel at home. The design of the hostel is absolutely stunning—Mousa built&designed everything himself with incredible creativity, passion, and attention to detail!!! ❣️ Every corner reflects his love and dedication, making the atmosphere truly special and authentic. The hostel is also very clean and offers a really high standard of comfort. Mousa even prepares the food himself, and it’s incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavors. While the beach is a bit away, it’s still not far, and the beautiful natural surroundings make it a perfect retreat. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to Mousa and Anna’s kindness&hospitality, makes this one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. They also helped me to plan my trip to Kandy. I highly recommend it! ❤️ Thank you so much for this wonderful time Anna & Mousa, will definitely come back!

The nicest hostel I stayed in in Sri Lanka! The place is decorated really nicely, the rooms and spaces were really clean with good a/c, there was even a nice balcony from our dorm room with hammocks so it was really nice and relaxing. They even provided shower gel, shampoo conditioner hand soap and towels which isn’t common in Sri Lanka ! There is a really lovely rooftop and nice food options. The owners are super kind and welcoming and it’s close to both unawatuna beach and jungle beach. I was only stopping here one night but it was a great relaxing stay helping me feel rested before my long journey home. I would stay here again and for longer when visiting again

One of our best stays during the trip! The hostel is clean, stylish and overall just very comfortable. The room was very nice and clean and they also have a rooftop where you can socialise, grab some amazing food and play some games! The owner was extremely friendly during our stay and also rented us his scooter for the days we stayed, so we could easily explore the area.

This was my second hostel stay on my solo backpacking trip and the whole experience was lovely. I booked the single private room and it did not disappoint. The room was really clean and the terrace was so nice. I did have a shared bathroom however because all the other rooms had their own bathrooms, this bathroom ended up being my own. The bathroom was also really clean, soap, shampoo & conditioner was also provided, plus a towel! The roof terrace is beautiful the decor and vibe is great. I ended up meeting two people here and we ended up going out for a dinner locally and also did a rainforest hike which was suggested and arranged by the owner. The owner of this hostel is such a lovely man, super chilled, really friendly and helpful with local and site seeing recommendations.

I stayed there for 3 nights about 2 years ago. It's a new hostel, so the facilities were pretty clean. There was hot water and the bed was soft and clean! The view and atmosphere from the rooftop terrace is so wonderful that I want to stay forever! I thought so. For dinner, the host cooked Middle Eastern food for us for an additional fee, and it was all delicious. It was perfect as I was getting tired of Sri Lankan food.
